The Gerber 30-001306 is an automatic version of the classic Applegate-Fairbairn combat folder. It is 8.7″ in open length, 4.9″ closed. The 3.78″ spearpoint blade is forged from CPM-S30V stainless steel. This Black finished blade has a fine cutting edge. The handle is Tactical Grey Type III Anodized 6061 aluminum. The push button blade release also acts as a plunge lock with blade open. There is also a slide safety with red dot indicator to keep blade securely closed when carrying. A black pocket clip allows for tip-down deep-pocket carry.
