The Official Swiss Border Guard Knife is now produced by H.P. Klotzli in Switzerland. Designed in collaboration with the Swiss Border Guard, this is their first official knife.
This one-piece knife is 8-1/4″ long with a 3-3/4″ blade. It is hollow ground by hand out of Bohler N690 stainless steel and hardened to HRC 56-57. The knife is 5.09mm thick and weighs 4.4 ounces. There are ribs on top and bottom for a safe grip. The knife is coated in black teflon and is pre-wrapped in dark blue paracord. The Swiss Border Guard logo is on one side of the blade. For carrying, a very high quality black leather sheath is provided. The sheath has the Swiss Border Guard logo embossed on the front and has a black metal clip on the back. It can be conveniently carried as a boot knife, or on a belt or pack.
