The Knives of Alaska Bobcat Combo is one of the most versatile sets you can take into the field.  It features the new Bobcat mini hatchet teamed up with the Alpha Wolf fixed blade knife. 

The Bobcat is a full tang mini hatchet made of D2 steel with a 55-57 Rockwell hardness.  It is about 8-1/8″ in overall length.  The axe head has a 2-1/2″ cutting edge with an 18-20 degree bevel that chops through solid bone, wood or just about anything.  Opposite the cutting edge is a large capacity gut hook. You will hold on tight with the Suregrip handle.  The Bobcat only weighs about 9.5 ounces.

The Alpha Wolf is a full tang, drop point hunting knife.  It is 7-7/8″ overall with a 3-3/4″ blade.  It is also made of D2 tool steel, .1″ thick, 59-61 HRC.  The thinner blade allows for easy cutting and sharpening.  It also has a Suregrip handle and weighs only 3-1/4 ounces.

Both Bobcat and Alpha Wolf are carried in their custom leather belt sheath.  Hatchet, knife and sheath all weigh in at only about 14-1/2 ounces.
