This is a collaboration between Pro-Tech Knives and Mike “Whiskers” Allen. This innovative Pro-Tech Whiskers collaboration knife based on Mike’s fantastic scale release mechanism. Upon first glance there is nothing about the M2603 to make you suspect it’s an automatic knife (no button of course). The butt end of the front scale of the handle slides forward which fires the blade open and also unlocks it from the open position. With it’s handy 3.75” blade, smooth discreet action, and deep carry clip make this an excellent EDC knife.
This model M2601 is 8.625″ in overall length with a 3-3/4″ drop-point blade of Black DLC 154-CM stainless steel. The fine edge blade is .125″ thick. It has a 4.875″ handle made of 6061-T6 smooth black aluminum. The knife thickness is .5″ and weighs 4.8 ounces. This is a right-hand, tip-up, scale release automatic folder with bead blasted hardware, a black pocket clip and a lanyard hole.
